Flightless Alien Bird

An alien bird based on Earth's large flightless birds, various reptiles and fish. Here it's rendered in real-time with a low-poly game mesh. It's part of a group of creatures all based on African fauna.

The bird has 2 color variations adapted for life on the savanna and jungle, and 2 rarely occurring melanistic and leucistic color patterns. It uses the ''eye spots'' on it's 'wings' as a threat display, mate attraction and for communication when it gathers in flocks with other individuals of it's species.

The low-poly mesh is comprised of body and eye meshes. 7392 polygons in total.
The body textures are at 4K and the eyes at 2K.

Same as the body but at 2048 X 2048. Including a parallax map so the iris looks like it has depth.
